Oh my, I haven't written in forever! Well, I thought I would take the time today to because I'm sick in bed with H1N1. I didn't go to school this week and I am going to be horribly behind in school work so I won't have time other then now for a while
On December 2nd I am going to Miami. In 27 days I am going to Miami. In 27 days I will be away in paradise for 2 whole weeks. You have no IDEA how excited I am! The palm trees, the heat, the shopping, the tropical-ness. I am going for tennis, of course, but I went last year and it's a blast. It's so humid and hot at night you can go outside in shorts and a tanktop and go shopping at an outdoor mall!

I am going to buy a film camera. A used one, for about $50, but I really want to try film. Anyways, I had an okay long weekend. I got a little bit of photography in, but not a lot. It snowed a ton last night, and I will take a picture later today. Oh, I love fall.

Life has been good. I sorry for not blogging, but I have been too busy being a kid. I think it's because every weekend I'm with my friends, I'm more independent. I miss summer, but I'm excited for winter. It snowed yesterday, and my nose went all rosy and fingertips were frozen. I finally got around to buying a coat (wool knitted jumper) along with a new hoodie and a rain jacket. Here is an old outfit post, along with some photography I've collected or edited the past few weeks. I hope everyone is well, and you can expect a post sometime this weekend because I have a 5 day weekend for Thanksgiving!

I bought the loveliest pair of sneakers the other day. Bensimons to be exact, and they are so amazing. Very comfortable, and versatile, and different then the repeating black and or patterned converse at my school. Besides, they will keep me going until the snow falls and my Uggs come out. If my parents decide to treat me to a new pair this season, i want short black ones or possibly a type of boot the new Marc by Marc Jacobs ones :) Well I have to get up very early for tennis tomorrow, and I have volley ball tryouts after school, so goodnight.

Autumn is here, well it might as well be. I find my days of wearing beautiful bare legs with shorts and skirts and dresses are coming to a close and I find myself wearing jeans and tights rather than not. The days where you squeeze into two hoodies just so you don't have to wear your coat are creeping up at me. The days of iced coffees and passion ice tea lemonades from Starbucks are now cozy afternoons bundled in scarves and toques with your pumpkin late, or your gingerbread late as the snowfalls down onto your face. Well, soon enough the snow will be here.
I'm excited for winter/autumn photography. I've always liked winter. Not the -30 Celsius you get sometimes, but the pink rosy cheeks, the snowcapped trees and the holiday warmth.
As for my blog-soul-searching, I've come to a conclusion all I need to settle my hearts content is a name change. That's what I meant when I said I didn't like nylonlove, I meant the name. I might start a new blog, but it would be all the same, maybe a little more photography, a little less gibberish fashion nonsense, but outfits and inspiration and things like that would stay.

New look on lookbook! Hypee please :)

So school happened. Not any major disasters. I'd say, overall, it was quite okay. I wore my tutu skirt first day, and my gladiator sandals. But I sure am not looking forward to going back!

I had a nice weekend, on Friday I went over to one of my best friends house and hung out there and drank tee and stuff, I didn't get home until late. The next day I went back and hung out with my friend again, we played tennis, got ice cream and went swimming in his pool. I also made $35 for cleaning bricks. Hahahaha :) That night I went to my friend Tamara's house, and a couple people hung out and watched movies and then I slept over. Today was boring- I just got school supplies, played paddle and cleaned.. :(

Next weekend is a long weekend! So excited to start my new job playing tennis with some little kids :)

Today is August 26th. I start school August 27th. Tomorrow. I am officially depressed that summer has come to an end :( But I have no time to spare, since I have paddle practice from 10:30 to 12, and then again from 5-7, I still have to do the following things: dye my hair, completely fix and paint my nails, find a backpack to use, figure out a back to school outfit, find a new slouchy white v-neck and get everything ready before 10pm tonight! Fun right?

I ~~want~~ NEED that pink bag :)

I almost forgot to tell you about the clothes my mom gave me, she went and got some stuff for me from her closet they other day and came back with: Lace crop top, Versace black tee, sheer black tank, black v-neck sweater, Calvin Klein knit sweater, and a striped New York long sleeve :) I will post pictures this weekend, along with my first day outfit...

Hey everyone, I'm back! BC was super fun, I did a lot of beach-going, tanning and movie watching. Also some shopping! On the second last day when we went shopping downtown, I went to an expensive little boutique that was having an amazing sale and bought a pair of Cheap Monday jeans for $25 (originally $80), I also got a blood orange super soft tank top by James Purse for $10 that was originally $55! Very successful! I got home a day or two ago, and yesterday went shopping at the new supermall just outside our city. They got a Forever 21 :) I bought a gray tutu type skirt and a bike tank top from Forever 21, a tight black skirt and white keds from H&M which I have to return, and heart sunglasses from Urban Planet! I can't wait to go back to Forever 21 to get some statement jewelry.

I also wanted to say thanks to all my followers and all the lovely comments you guys leave me! Keep it coming!

Now I didn't show you this one because the outfit is particularly amazing, but I am in love with this bag! I got it 2 years ago for my 11th birthday and I just found it in my closet ;) It's the perfect tote bag because you can carry it like a tote bag (straps), or no straps like in the pictures! Anyways - Ruffle Blouse; Guess, Shorts; Lacoste DIY, Bag; Song

Okay so here is the DIY- a pearl headband :)

what you'll need: 1 stretchy headband, 1 pearl necklace/bracelets/pearls that can cover at least half of the headband, and a glue gun.

1. Cut all clips/clasps off of the pearl jewelry
2. Start by glueing 2 inch sections of the necklace to the headband at a time
3. Repeat until finished! Remember to only stretch the left over headband part!

Beauty Review #1: Sally Hershberger Shampoo/Conditioner for Wavy Hair
I personally love this shampoo/conditioner! I previously have used Herbal Essences for as along as I can remember, but now the smells of the perfume in them have started to get to me so I decided to try this. And it's great! It has a light, refreshing smell, and leaves your hair soft and perfect waves! not only that, but it looks great in your shower hahaha !!

Beauty Review #2: MAC Eyeshadow in Gleam
Don't let the colour fool you! It did on me, when I first saw it, I thought it would be applied bright orangy gold, but it didn't. As long as you apply a light, even amount, it's a great gold hue, with pink/orange undertones. It subtly enhances your eyes and lips and stays on all day. Perfect amount of shimmer, and great for the price!

So hopefully I'm going back up to Kelowna BC with an old friend of mine soon, so that will result in some great pictures hopefully! I am also saving up for a big shopping spree as soon as possible! So yesterday I saw Valentino, the Last Emporor at this uptown-oldschool-fancyishpants theatre with my parents and their friends. I have to say, it was a wee boring, buy worth it because the clothes were flipping fantastic! And now I know what I don't want to be when I grow up; a seamstress. I urge you guys to see it because he really was the meaning of haute couture. :)

Ahhhhhhhhh! I'm having the most amazing summer. These past few weeks, I have racked up so many clothes, jewelry and accessories, but not paid a dime! I know I told you all about the amazing closet-raiding at my summer house, but talk about closet-raiding! Last night I went through my costume trunk for fun and found... 2 belts, 1 sheer white flower skirt, 1 black twirly skirt :), black and gold sparkly socks, vintage arm gloves, 1 black bodysuit, 1 gorgeous red scarf, 1 gorgeous tribal scarf, and 2 pairs of old heels! And to top it off, my mom went through her old stuff and found... 2 Dolce & Gabbana tanks, 3 Chloe shirts, and 1 shirt of a brand I've never heard of!

I also did 2...(3?) DIY'S yesterday! I will show them to you later, but thanks jessica for the ideas!

So you see these gorgeous thigh-high (when pulled up) suede boots in the picture? My Mum gave 'em to me! Well, they don't fit her anymore, but these are apparently this season's bootie! So stoked!

Hello world! I'm baaaack =)
So In BC, I was staying at my grandparents old house, which is now shared by my mom and her sisters since their parents have passed on. Although everyone went through my grandmas old jewelry and stuff many years ago, when I was too young to understand the concept of VINTAGE, there was still some stuff at the house that I got to go through. Let's just say I hit the mother mmmkay? Tons of jewelry (including necklaces, rings, brooches, pendants and watches), SCARVES! (from places like Paris and India), some shoes, some bags (a duffle bag, a small over the shoudler change purse, an old lacoste-style bag, and a duffle bag), and a little size 8 white dress (which is a shirt on me). On TOP of that, we went shopping and my mommy bought me some lovely vans jeans! Here is an outfit that I wore, along with a handful of pictures of the stuff I got!

I know, you're all probably wondering what this fantastic room is doing displayed on my blog. Well, let me tell you.It’s going to be my families future apartment in Paris! Well I hope so. Anyways, I will start the story from the beginning. Yesterday, my mom was telling me how much she hates this city (the stupid one we live in), and I said, “we should move to Paris.” She finally took me serious, for once, after I told her I would be willing to give up my friends/life here and everything. So we looked up on some websites how to move to france, while I looked for future apartments (jokingly). I really hope they are ACTUALLY considering this because it would be a dream come true! All we have to do is win the lottery now!

ANYWHOO, enough with my rambling dreams of moving to Paris, how about we talk about how CRUEL Marc Jacobs is! He has beautiful pieces of fashion sitting in his stores that are miles and miles away from me, that all happen to match my budget! But nooo, you can only buy Marc Jacobs Originals AT a Marc Jacobs store! Life is so harsh!

Guess who is back! I am so sorry for not blogging or anything, there was supposed to be Wi Fi at the house I was staying at in France but there wasn't :( Anyways I got home late last night. The trip was absolutely amazing! France is such a beautiful country and I honestly would give up everything, I mean EVERYTHING, to move to Paris. It's my dream now. As for shopping, I would say I was semi-successful. We didn't have tons of time to shop but I did get some stuff. In Paris I bought a Chanel nailpolish, a necklace from some little store, and a white Adidas tennis store. I almost almost almost bought a tiny Louis Vuitton card-holder but I didn't because my friend bought a wallet and got waaaayyy overcharged for tax so I couldn't bring myself to buy it. Anyways. I also bought some things in the markets in little towns, I bought a pair of gladiator type black sandals, a little crafted box for bobby pins and stuff and some little things for my parents. And of-course I bought a mini-eiffel tower in the airport :)

Moving on, I will take some pictures of what I bought later, but here are some pictures from my trip!

The water is warm, but it's sending me shivers.

So, after a completley pointless Facebook quiz, I found out Lily Cole has the same birthday as me. May 19th. So I thought I would put a picture of here up. End of story.

Moving on. I tried to convince my parents to get me a Nikon D40 since the beat-up-piece-of-crap-camera I am using has completly crashed, but they said its too short notice (right before my trip to France!) but I am getting a new camera. Tomorrow. I am pretty sure I am getting this one:

It's not too shabby, 12.1 MP, and since we can get giftcards for about $150, it will only be around $150. Any camera is better then the one I'm using.

Anyways, I'm so stoked, because tomorrow is Awards Day at our school, and I won an award! I'm not sure what it's called, but I will tell you next post along with some pictures I take with my soon-to-be-new-camera!

I watched Fight Club yesterday, after finishing the book a few days ago. I have to say the book is soo much better, but the movie was amazing. A little too much blood for my liking, but it was so interesting how they interpreted the "space monkeys".

So I have a few questions for all you international bloggers! I'm going to France in EXACTLY ONE WEEK, to train/play tennis for two weeks! Even though its only for tennis, we do get ONE tourist day in Paris, and I was wondering if any of you know some shops near main sight seeing areas like The Eiffel Tower (le duh). I'm hoping I will get atleast SOME shopping on that day, even if its a tourist tee shirt!

Anyways, Urban Outfitters has some lovely things in!!

1. I wear one necklace 24/7. My Dad bought it for me when I was 11, and it is a Tiffany's sterling silver heart pendant. It's so simple and I never take the chain off. Usually I keep the pendant on but sometimes I take it off to wear other necklaces.

2. I have one main fashion IDOL. Her name is Sabine. She is absolutely amazing. From Doc Martens, vintage dresses, turqoise skinny jeans, to Old Navy cardigans, she can pull anything off. Even birkenstocks AND socks. It's a talent, and she takes junoir high fashion to the next level.

3. I have a brother, who is 21 and working/living/intering in Switzerland right now.

4. I may be only 13, but I have an adult reading level. I am currently reading Fight Club, and I plan to read The Devil Wears Prada next.

5. I have a strange obsession with disposable cameras. I love the types of pictures they take.

6. I get to order from Topshop soon! My friend lives in London, so I am going to order some stuff, send it to her, and my other friend is visiting there so she will bring it back to me! I am so stoked, here is what I plan to order!

7. When it rains, it feels I have not a care in the world.

8. I currently use the crappiest camera alive - Canon Powershot S40. I had a decent Pentax, but it was stolen =(

9. I wish I lived in London. My friend moved their recently, and now she has the BEST style and the NICEST clothes!

Yesterday was so amazingly fun. First off, one of my best friends came over and we went to the mall. Where I bought.. A purse/bag from AE, a foot set from the Body SHop and a sport top from Lululemon. Then we went to Value Village because shed never been, and I got a lovely yellow/striped cardigan. Then we went back to my house, and went on my bike to the supermarket to pick up some bread. Then we hung out in the park behind my house for a bit, until we walked to Starbucks and got passion iced tea lemonades. It was so muchhh fun! Then I went to a meeting for a France Tennis trip at my friends house, and we ended up have a HUGR water fight and everyone landed in his pool with their clothes on! Anyways, me and my friend took some awesome pictures before the crappy camera I have to use died.

So today em and my friends are going to this street festival in my town. It's like all along a street near my house and there is like food, shopping (!), and live music and stuff. It's so much fun! I'm hoping to find some cool jewelry and a sweet pair of sunglasses :)

I hung out with my friend Sofia today, we rode our bikes all over town from garage sale to garage sale! There was a particularly good one, where I bought a Polaroid camera (that works!) for only 2$!! All I have to do is buy film online! I would have looked more at the other stuff but there we some creeps smoking pot and trying to talk to us so we left. We took photographs, so here are a couple :) One of them is me on my bike, and another is Sofia on my bike and me sitting on the back! ;D The others are a photo I took in black and white, and a picture of my lovely Polaroid camera.

So yesterday was my birthday, and I finally got my parents present! A gorgeous Electra bike! And along with it here are the Marc Jacobs flip flops my brother gave mee. They are awesome. I got some shirts from my friends aswell, and a couple giftcards from my aunts.

Anyways I have a track and field meet today, but it is freezing out!! I am in the 100m, 200m, High Jump and relay. Soo nervous! Wish me luck!! ;) ;) ;)

Ahh so I sprained my wrists...both of them.. So I have them in braces 24/7 which is quite annoying but at least I get 2 weeks off of tennis! Haha :) I also have a science unit final tomorrrow.. so wish me luck!!

Thank GOD for linksys. I'm staying at my friends grandparents house this week for nations (tennis) and I was told there would be no internet. But I FOUND INTERNET. Pretty highspeed too! I hope it will stay like this for the week though. Because none of my schoolwork I am missing is online yet so yeah. Oh well.

Hopefully I'm going to get to Holt Renfrew tomorrow after my match at 1:15. I'm going to check out the Marc by Marc Jacobs accessories there since my mother has a 25% of card there for this weekend!
